Accomodation - La Gaulette / Ile aux Bennitiers

The Ile aux Benitiers is uninhabited. There are no houses, streets or other infrastructure - and that's the way we like it!

Rumour has it that it has served as an overnight camping site for some kite surfers who were waiting for the wind of the next day after a night of partying .. We explicitly do not recommend that!

We do recommend, however, the PIKPIK Surfvillage in Le Morne, which is directly situated at the lagoon of the Ile, the holiday residences and apartments Banyan, Vanesha and Soleil in La Gaulette, or the small village at the Lagoon of Benitiers with its shops and restaurants.

La Gaulette

La Gaulette is the place to be for those who appreciate comfortable lodging in a small fishermen's village, located approx. 6 km from the prime spot Le Morne. Its position is simply dreamy: Directly at the Lagoon of Benitiers, all of its accommodation on offer allows for a view of the ocean and the sunset. The (few) supermarkets, shops and restaurants are (for the time being) just around the corner.
