The windiest spot of Mauritius is - thanks to its topographic conditions - located especially in the South-West nearby the world cultural heritage "Le Morne Brabant." You can add another 5-15 knots to the well-known weather forecasts of Windguru and windfinder most days of the year. On approx. 300 days a year the wind reaches 11 knots and more. Three spots in 15 kilometres parameter deserve to be called "extraordinary".
