Le Morne
Shallow water and waves
An endless, safe and shallow lagoon, with wave spots that are even too challenging for pros on some days. Additionally, winds can reach more than 4 bft. 300 days a year. The lagoon can be considered one of the most varied and dependably windy (and in the meantime famous) spots in the world.
The area around the mountain "Le Morne Brabant" has been designated a UNESCO world cultural heritage site due to its historic significance. For this reason, an on the spot kite center is not allowed in the lagoon.
The center
Our kite center is directly located at the Surfvillage "PIKPIK," the apartment lodging closest to the next "Point" (ca. 3 km), which is the local term for the Le Morne surf spot and the Kite Lagoon. Thanks to our 2 minibusses (& a trailer, which is coming soon), our mobile kite center sat directly at the spots are opened daily from 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The spots
Kite Lagoon

The gigantic and shallow lagoon, with the best shallow water and an extraordinary panorama, is located directly in front of the impressive mountain and world cultural heritage site "Le Brabant" - perfect for beginners, advanced & new school freestylers.

Little reef
The inner reefs (Little Reef) break waves up to 3 m depending on the swell.
Chameaux
The "strictly expert wave ground" Chameaux is seamlessly attached to Little Reef. The waves are already faster, stronger and higher than at the reef break Little Reef. It is only recommended for experts who have long-standing experience with waves!
One Eye
Further along is the notoriously famous One Eye. The wave is extremely fast, very clean and often 5 meters or higher and breaks onto the reef! Strictly for pros!
By the way, its name is derived from the special outline of the mountain "Brabant." It resembles a face in profile, of which the eye is clearly recognizable as an opening/hole in the mountain. It "looks" directly onto the notorious wave...
Manawa
To the left of the "Channels" (the opening of the reef to the open sea) is the top wave territory Manawa.
Here as well, the waves break between 2 and 6 meters depending on the swell. In comparison to One Eye, however, the advantage is a water depth of ca. 2 meters, which prevents you from being washed directly onto the reef.
